　Daiichikosho Co., Ltd. will launch its new flagship model for commercial karaoke systems, 'LIVE DAM WAO! (DAM-XG9000),' on April 18, 2025.
　 Ahead of the release, Yo Oizumi, who has been appointed as the brand ambassador for 'LIVE DAM WAO!', made an appearance at the media presentation held on March 5.

　Dressed in a sleek black outfit, Yo Oizumi made a cool entrance. When asked about the surprising features or intriguing content of the new 'LIVE DAM WAO!' product, he responded with amazement, saying, 'I was most surprised by the Hamorun feature! If I had this function, recording my album last year would have been so much easier...'

　 With the concept of 'creating connections (WAO!) through singing and delivering new surprises (WAO!),' 'LIVE DAM WAO!' embodies this vision. When asked how he uses karaoke to build connections in his wide social circle, Oizumi shared with a mix of modesty and confidence, 'After work, I often go out for meals with actors and staff, and since I'm a good singer, we often end up at karaoke for after-parties, where I'm always asked to sing.'

　 Although Oizumi has several songs of his own, he shared a heartwarming anecdote about his family karaoke outings: 'When I go to karaoke with my family, they don't listen to my songs. So I usually end up being the listener, and since my wife loves X JAPAN, I always put on 'Kurenai' for her.' When asked about experiences where his singing captivated those around him, he humorously admitted, 'Unfortunately, I haven't had such experiences. In the end, people seem to have more fun when someone who isn't great at singing takes the stage, which is frustrating for me as a good singer.'

　 During the introduction of the new features of 'LIVE DAM WAO!', Oizumi sang Chiharu Matsuyama's 'In the Sky and on the Earth,' using the 'Hamorun' feature to recreate all the harmony parts with his own voice. Though slightly embarrassed, he sang with enthusiasm. When the host stopped him midway through the chorus due to time constraints, he excitedly commented, 'I was just getting into it—can I sing one more song!?'
　 Finally, addressing karaoke enthusiasts, Oizumi delivered a message: 'LIVE DAM WAO! is packed with unique features that make it fun and revolutionary for karaoke. Please enjoy your karaoke life, and invite me too! I'll join you whenever I can!' With this, the presentation came to a close.
