The 21st MC of 'DAM CHANNEL' is Yuchami!
Streaming starts on April 1st on the DAM karaoke system.
Daiichikosho Co., Ltd. has appointed Yuuchami as the 21st MC for "DAM CHANNEL," an entertainment information content streamed between karaoke performances on the DAM karaoke system.
The revamped DAM CHANNEL with its new MC will launch on April 1, 2025.
Since its debut in August 2004, "DAM CHANNEL" has been delivering music-centered entertainment information to karaoke users.
Starting with its first MC, Rei Kikukawa, "DAM CHANNEL" has featured popular talents and artists as its MCs over the years. Following the 20th MC, Kasumi Mori, Yuuchami will take over as the new face of the program starting April 1.
Yuuchami, who is active mainly in variety shows, possesses both charisma and influence, continuing to make a significant impact on youth culture. Joining her to liven up the program is comedian Chan Kawai, who will continue as a supporting MC passionately discussing J-POP.
With their lively banter and humor, the two Kansai natives will deliver the joy of music and the charm of artists, aiming to create a program that karaoke fans across the nation can enjoy even more.
"DAM CHANNEL" continues to evolve as a content platform that enriches the karaoke experience.

To me, karaoke is as close as it gets to being synonymous with being a 'gal.' Even before I became a gal, I enjoyed karaoke with my family from a young age. Whether during happy times or tough times, karaoke has always been a constant presence in my life. Karaoke is indispensable to me.

After serving as an exclusive model for magazines "Pichilemon" and "Popteen," Yuuchami worked as an exclusive model for "egg" until April 2023.
Known for her overwhelming brightness and thick Osaka dialect, Yuuchami is active across various fields, including variety shows, dramas, and commercials. She was ranked No. 1 in the 2022 Breakthrough Female Talent category and made her singing debut in October 2024 with "A Song of Support Dedicated to You." She has been appointed as the "Higashi Osaka City Charm PR Ambassador" and will serve as a special supporter for the 2025 Japan World Expo (Osaka/Kansai Expo).
