Daiichi Kosho Co., Ltd.

　Xing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Xing) and Daiichikosho Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Daiichikosho) will collaborate as prize partners for the 'MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN,' organized by the Culture and Entertainment Industry Promotion Association (hereinafter referred to as CEIPA), to jointly present the special Karaoke Award.

■MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN

　An award organized by CEIPA, established through collaboration among five major organizations in the Japanese music industry.
This is Japan's largest international music award, held under the concept of 'Connecting with the world and illuminating the future of music,' with the award ceremony scheduled for May in Kyoto.

　 In addition to the six main categories, such as 'Best Song Award' and 'Best Artist Award,' this award establishes over 60 categories to honor a wide variety of works. The 'Co-Creation Category' celebrates outstanding music culture through collaboration with various companies involved in music.

　 As prize partners for this award, Xing and Daiichikosho will jointly present the special Karaoke Award, 'Karaoke of the Year powered by DAM & JOYSOUND,' within the 'Co-Creation Category.' The award will feature two divisions: the J-Pop category and the Enka & Kayokyoku category, selecting the best works for each.

【Karaoke of the Year: J-Pop Category】 J-Pop songs most sung in karaoke are eligible.
【Karaoke of the Year: Enka & Kayokyoku Category】 Enka and Kayokyoku songs most sung in karaoke are eligible.

■ Selection Process

　◇ Entry Works
　　 ・ Aggregation Period: February 1, 2024 – January 31, 2025
　　 ・ Eligible Songs: Songs released between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2024
　　　　　　　　 The singing frequency of songs on Daiichikosho's 'DAM' and Xing's 'JOYSOUND' will be aggregated, and the top 30 songs in each category will be selected.

　 ◇ Best Works
　　　 Aggregation Period: March 13, 2025 – May 12, 2025
　　　　　　　　 From the entry works, the songs most sung on 'DAM' and 'JOYSOUND' will be honored as the best works in each category.

■ Future Outlook

　Our company and Xing will continue to pursue various initiatives to further develop Japanese music culture and explore future possibilities.
