The new flagship model of DAM, 'LIVE DAM WAO!',
has appointed actor Yo Oizumi as its brand character!

 Daiichikosho Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as 'our company') will appoint actor and artist Yo Oizumi as the brand character for the new flagship model of the commercial karaoke system DAM, 'LIVE DAM WAO!', which will be launched on April 18, 2025.

 
  The commercial karaoke system DAM series is widely used in karaoke-equipped stores and facilities nationwide.
  The new flagship model 'LIVE DAM WAO!' features 'Voice Magic,' which adds a magical touch to singing voices, along with functions that make singing more enjoyable. It also includes the new precision scoring system 'Precision Scoring Ai Heart' and a variety of original artist videos, packed with the concept of 'the more you sing, the newer the WOW.'

  Our company has appointed Yo Oizumi as the brand character for the launch of the new product 'LIVE DAM WAO!'.
  Yo Oizumi, who enjoys immense popularity across generations, has ranked first in the 'Talent Power Ranking - Actor Category' for five consecutive years from 2020 to 2024. He is also actively engaged in artistic endeavors, establishing himself as a versatile multi-talented figure with a solid reputation.

  Together with Yo Oizumi, our company aims to expand the reach of 'LIVE DAM WAO!' and revitalize the karaoke industry as a whole.
  The commercial for 'LIVE DAM WAO!' featuring Yo Oizumi is scheduled to air around the summer of 2025.

Yo Oizumi possesses not only exceptional recognition but also a relatable talent image, making him highly compatible with the concept of the new product.
The new product 'LIVE DAM WAO!' embodies the desire to 'create a circle (WAO) through singing and let people experience new surprises.' Yo Oizumi was deemed the perfect fit to connect people within this circle and convey the joy of karaoke and singing, which led to his appointment as the brand character.

Upon being appointed as the brand character for 'LIVE DAM WAO!', I had the opportunity to experience the new product firsthand.
The 'Singing Pro Filter,' 'Role-Playing Effect,' and 'Hamoron' were all astonishing features that made singing even more enjoyable.
The four-player competition game 'Battle!! Stay Until the End Show!!!!' was absolutely hilarious. It's a highly recommended game guaranteed to bring excitement, and I hope many people will enjoy it.

■ Yo Oizumi Profile

Born on April 3, 1973, in Hokkaido. Member of the theater unit 'TEAM NACS.'
After appearing in the Hokkaido Television variety show 'How Do You Like Wednesday?', he has been active in numerous films, TV shows, and stage productions.
He won the Japan Academy Prize for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for the films 'The Detective Is in the Bar' (2011), 'The Floating Castle' (2015), 'The Detective Is in the Bar 3' (2017), and 'Phases of the Moon' (2022). He also received the Japan Academy Prize for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role for 'Hello, Mother' (2023).
'Muromachi Outlaws' will be released on January 17, 2025, and 'Kakukaku Shikajika' is scheduled for release on May 16, 2025.
