The first store of the new concept 'Mochi no Ki Pasta'
opens in Mitaka, Tokyo on March 28
Daiichi Kosho Co., Ltd. will open 'Mochi no Ki Pasta', a concept of 'specialty pasta with chunky ingredients in a relaxing space like being under dappled sunlight', in Mitaka, Tokyo on March 28.
'Mochi no Ki Pasta' is a fresh pasta specialty store where you can enjoy a variety of pasta dishes made with chewy fresh pasta.
The origin of the store's name comes from the flower language of the Mochi tree, 'Flow of Time', and the meanings 'Preserve' and 'Hold'. We hope that during these times, you cherish meals and relaxing moments with your loved ones.
The interior, inspired by a summer resort café, creates a comfortable space with modern decor and the warmth of wood. We have spacious table seating to accommodate a wide range of ages, from families and office workers to the elderly. It can be easily used by individuals or groups.
Additionally, USB outlets are installed at the counter seats, making it ideal for teleworking.
Recommended dishes include 'Salsiccia and Fresh Tomato Cheese Peperoncino', where fragrant pork used for sausage pairs perfectly with tomato and cheese; 'Eryngii and Porcini Mushroom Meat Sauce', featuring large-cut eryngii for texture and porcini mushrooms known for their nutty aroma and strong umami; 'Steamed Chicken and Fried Eggplant Spicy Arrabbiata', with tender chicken topped on a spicy tomato sauce with chili; and 'Shrimp, Scallop, and Mussel Mentaiko Cream Soup Pasta', with seafood umami in a cream soup topped with mentaiko and shiso leaves.
