Model Asuka Kijima appointed as the 18th MC of 'DAM CHANNEL'
Starts on Karaoke DAM from April 11
Daiichi Kosho Co., Ltd. will appoint model Asuka Kijima as the 18th MC of the entertainment information content "DAM CHANNEL" that is distributed between karaoke performances on the online karaoke DAM. DAM CHANNEL, which welcomes a new MC, will start on April 11th.
DAM CHANNEL began broadcasting in August 2004. Starting with the first MC, Rei Kikukawa, various notable figures have served as MCs, delivering music-centered entertainment information to karaoke users.
Asuka Kijima, who will take over the baton from the 17th generation MC Kiyoshi Shiraishi, is currently active as a model, weather caster, actress, and a wide range of other activities.
During the first recording session held recently at a studio in Tokyo, various talks were held not only about the guest artists' music activities but also about karaoke, hobbies, and special skills.
"I like karaoke, and I go there alone, and I listen to various songs such as Vocaloid, J-POP, rock, and K-pop to get excited," says Kijima, who is a music lover who will bring out the charm of the artist and excite karaoke fans nationwide.
