Integration with the individual function training addition calculation support system 'ACE'
Daiichi Kosho Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Daiichi Kosho) and QLC Systems Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as QLC Systems) will distribute the individually functional training content "Let's Functional Training," jointly developed by both companies, to the comprehensive lifestyle function improvement device "DK Elder System" deployed by Daiichi Kosho starting January 12. Through collaboration with the individual functional training addition calculation support system "ACE" deployed by QLC Systems, the efficiency of individual functional training addition operations will be realized.
In day services where self-supporting care is required, "individual functional training" *1 Although implementation has become an important issue, it is difficult to secure staff with specialized knowledge. In addition, due to the impact of the spread of the novel coronavirus, opportunities for users to go out have decreased, raising concerns about the deterioration of the condition of those requiring care.
ACE is a system that supports the calculation tasks of physical evaluation, program planning, and report creation, enabling facility staff without specialized knowledge to perform additional calculations with minimal workload. Currently, approximately 1,000 nationwide *2 It is operating at the office.
The DK Elder System dedicated machines 'FREE DAM HD' and 'FREE DAM' will receive the 'Let's Functional Training' distribution starting January 12. *3 This is content jointly developed by Daiichi Kosho and QLC System. The function training program that ACE automatically proposes according to the physical condition of facility users can be implemented using the video content of 'Let's Function Training.' We have prepared 10 types of programs to improve physical and daily living functions, such as 'Indoor Movement,' 'Tidying and Cleaning,' 'Dressing and Undressing,' and 'Social Participation,' each lasting about 15 to 20 minutes. By providing both 'Basic Edition (Seated)' and 'Advanced Edition (Standing),' the content is designed to be useful for facility users with various physical conditions. The popular Mr. Gobou from nursing facilities appears to explain the purpose and movements of exercises in a fun and easy-to-understand manner, allowing nursing staff without specialized knowledge to conduct function training guidance with confidence.
ACE handles the complex calculation tasks related to individual functional training additions, and the DK Elder System's 'Let's Functional Training' supports programs aligned with the user's goals. This enables facility operators to obtain individual functional training additions 'easily' and 'by anyone,' while facility users can achieve this 'enjoyably' and 'continuously.'
Daiichi Kosho will continue to support the extension of the healthy life expectancy of the elderly through its elder business. The QLC system will support many care providers in engaging in self-support care and functional training.
- *1Individual Functional Training Additions refer to the additional charges that can be calculated primarily in day care (day service) when the prescribed calculation requirements are met and individual functional training is conducted according to the user's situation.
